In 2014, we were walking to the school bus on a freezing morning and Amyriel asked, "Moma, what do the homeless people do under the bridge when it's cold?" From that conversation, she decided we all need to give blankets and other warm items. Not just giving them to some national organization, but to go out, shake a hand, give a hug if the person wants one, and give them a warm blanket.
