These 2 pieces are inspired by my real life friends. The one on the right was inspired by Kyndra Joi's organization "I am my sister."  The original is available. 

The image on the left was inspired by 3 real life siblings and their stories from childhood. Sadly, the one in the blue jacket has since died while incarcerated and awaiting trial. He died from complications of Sickle Cell and neglect by Orleans Parish Prison personnel.

From the "Rise" series, these 2 pieces reflect the search for peace and progress. They are reminders to find center and baptize yourself in nature and music and yoga. 

The piece to the right features my daughter in a meditative yoga pose and the left combines the symbols of birds in flight with the woman's hair.

From the "Rooted" series, these pieces focus on love and unity as well as the connection to the ancestors. 
Love Union reflects 2 lovers from different places finding each other and growing and flourishing together as one. 
To the right is the title piece of the Rooted set, which shows a woman dancing and living in the present while paying honor to her ancestors who are reflected in her hair. The original also includes 3D jewelry as a ring and earring.

From the "Golden" series, these pieces highlight the power and regal nature of its figures. 

Jimi Hendrix and the "Anonymous" figure to the right, radiate a creative royal demeanor that inspires many others.
